Meet Leola

 The biggest joy I get out of teaching is helping my students get into their inner peace and their place of serenity. To me, yoga is about health and wellness, and self-care. It is about intertwining your movements with your breath and creating a relaxing environment for your practice. Even though essential oils during practice are not required, using essential oils in my practices has helped students with relieving their stress, deepening their practice, reconnecting, centering, and slowing down.  Walking away with peace, relaxation, and a sense of rejuvenation.

Leola's personal experiences led her to delve deeply into yoga and wellness as a means to overcome life's obstacles. She found solace and healing within the practice, using it as a tool to navigate her way through challenges. Her commitment to her own well-being ignited a desire to share the benefits she had gained with others, leading her to become a dedicated Mind & Body Wellness yoga instructor .

 Her teaching philosophy revolves around the profound impact of guiding students toward inner peace and serenity. Leola views yoga as a holistic approach to health, wellness, and self-care. She emphasizes the importance of synchronizing movement with breath, creating a tranquil atmosphere that supports each student's practice. While not mandatory, Leola has also explored the integration of essential oils during her sessions, recognizing their potential to enhance the experience by aiding stress relief, deepening the practice, and promoting a sense of reconnection and centeredness.

 Leola's passion for teaching blossomed during her time at Yoga Source Palo Alto CA and Yoga Source Los Gatos CA. These early opportunities opened doors to collaborations with other studios and businesses, including prestigious venues such as Four Seasons Palo Alto CA. Her expertise has extended into various settings, ranging from corporate environments to virtual and private sessions, allowing her to cater to a diverse range of individuals seeking balance and well-being.

As someone who doesn’t have a lot of expectations whenever I go practice yoga, I was blown away with how Leola’s sessions were everything I could have imagined wanting out of meditative yoga experience.   • I have been loving Leola's wellness and yoga programs. The focus on breathing, mindfulness, relaxation, meditation and balance is so restorative. She has a soothing presence that is reassuring, even for an atypical yoga person like me. Although I come stressed and frenzied, I leave glowing and calm thanks to her positive but flexible instruction, encouragement and example. Her preparation before class takes into account every detail- scents, scenes, spacing and sounds. During our classes we practice poses, refine our breathing, improve our posture, find our centers, improve flexibility, gain strength, expand body awareness and increase balance. It will take time, but because she can be flexible, and adjust to my level, I am slowly growing in confidence and interest as I'm connecting mind, body and spirit while finding my inner zen. I have had many a sampler platter of yoga but never desired a full meal until now. She's that good.
